Duct Foreman
Responsibilities:

Direct the administration, performance, safety, training, and welfare of field personnel

Review project details with the Project Manager and communicate daily needs

Ensure work is performed according to the project schedule

Monitor manpower requirements and take action to address changing needs

Coordinate HVAC system installation with other trades
-
Ensure compliance with company objectives, procedures, policies, and quality standards

Represent Energy Air, Inc. at project meetings when the Project Manager is unavailable
-
Submit clear, accurate, and timely paperwork to the Project Manager

Perform all mechanic duties when foreman responsibilities are complete
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum of five (5) years of construction experience
-
In-depth knowledge of sheet metal system fabrication/installation, HVAC&R, and related supporting utilities

Knowledge of local industry codes regulating the HVAC&R industry

Ability to work independently without supervision
-
Ability to effectively manage and motivate employees
-
Good written and verbal communication skills
-
Effective negotiator able to work harmoniously with other trades
Work Environment:
-
Work Environment: Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders. Must be comfortable working from heights (over 20 feet is common). Walking and lifting weight of twenty (20) pounds or more are required in the daily performance of job.

Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling and material handling.

Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting and squatting.
