Metal Shop Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Schedule coordination with Shop Supervisor

• Cleanliness of Shop

• Supplies – Notify Shop Supervisor to order

• Shop tools and maintenance notify Shop Supervisor

• Enforce company safety policies

• Maintain high quality and productivity

• Assist Shop Supervisor with training of Shop employees

• Assist other areas when needed according to work load

Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent

• Minimum five (5) years duct fabrication

• In-depth knowledge of duct fabrication and installation systems

• HVAC and related supporting utilities

• Ability to work without supervision

• Ability to effectively manage and motivate employees

Physical Demands:

• Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders. Walking and lifting of weights of 20 pounds or more are required in daily performance of job

• Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling and material handling.

• Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting and squatting
