We are a technical staffing company in Orlando Florida looking for entry level and skilled, motivated Welders! Our projects are diverse and always changing, keeping your work environment fun, fast paced, and challenging. Individual contracts differ and may include days, nights, and/or weekends.

General Description:
In this role, you will conduct site inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards, and will also complete related paperwork and reports. This position reports to our onsite Project Manager, and is a key contributor in ensuring successful execution of this large scale product installation.
Education, Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
To qualify, you must possess a valid CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification issued by the American Welding Society (AWS), and have a valid drivers license. Candidates must live in the local area, or be willing to self-relocate. (Paid relocation and paid travel are not being offered).
Skills and Experience:
Must have good oral and written communication skills, and be able to work well as part of a team. Prior inspection experience as a CWI is not required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
3/4 of time will be spent standing & walking in a large industrial construction site in outdoors weather conditions. Must be able to conduct weld inspections at heights (from scaffolding or work platforms), and in difficult-to-access areas. (Must be able to climb, kneel, crawl, etc.) Must have clear vision at close distance to perform weld inspections, and at distances sufficient to operate a vehicle and avoid moving equipment.
Requirements:
- Certified
- Mig/Tig 6g
- Print reading ability and familiarity with the fabrication process
- Personal welding hood and PPE, including chaps
Compensation: DOE
All applicants will be REQUIRED to do an ON SITE drug test and background check at the time of interview.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged, but you must be able to read, speak and write effectively in English for onsite safety reasons.
