Compass Research is looking for and ARNP to assist the Physician with evaluating and examining patients. This role will identify and assess patient charts and medical history to develop/modify plan of care for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physician in treating patients
  • Evaluate patient’s charts and medical history
  • Perform treatments and legibly documents/reports all procedures and assessments in accordance with clinic’s policy
  • Recommend treatment plan and document in patient’s chart accordingly
  • Complete all follow-up assessments and evaluations
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient’s medical history and condition
  • Identify individualized plan of care, coordinate care of patient, testing, and preparation procedures
  • Interpret and verify physician’s directives correctly
  • Investigate questionable situations that may arise
  • Ensure all tests are ordered and results are received and documented; confirm additional treatments have been ordered appropriately
  • Provide patient education, counseling, and instructions
  • Dictate progress notes, medical history, and physical exam
  • Order medication upon request of supervising physician
  • Answer physician patient calls during normal business hours
  • Responsible for after hour calls, evenings, and weekends
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and/or general office duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Minimum MSN degree, ARNP Florida License, and National Certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
