Dean Mead, a mid-size Orlando law firm with 5 offices located throughout Florida, is seeking a Computer Systems Manager who, under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, is responsible to ensure the stability, integrity and security of the law firm’s servers, workstations, network infrastructure, hardware and software. Functions include installing, diagnosing, upgrading and supporting all hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.  This person should be highly motivated and have excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and administer Citrix ZenDesktop and VMWare environments

• Support and administer Cisco Unified Communication VOIP system

• Support and administer server, SAN and network infrastructure for all offices, including Microsoft servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WINS

• Support and administer Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL and Elite Enterprise

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software, including Windows 7/10, Office 2010/2016, using various deployment tools

• Log and monitor Help Desk issues in TrackIT help desk system

• Ability to explain complex solutions to problems to non-technical users

• Develop and grow base understanding of all firm applications 

• Ensure client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position

• Travel as required to other offices for technical support

• Occasional after-hours and weekend support

REQUIREMENTS

• Four-year degree

• Three to five years of hands-on experience managing MS Server 2008r2/2012r2, Active Directory, MS Web Services (IIS), MS Exchange 2010, MS SQL Server 2008/2012, VMWare and Citrix/XenDesktop in an Enterprise Environment

• Experience with Worldox DMS, ContactEase CRM, and Elite Enterprise/3E highly desired

• Strong hands-on technical knowledge, diagnosing and trouble-shooting of network and PC operating systems

• Strong knowledge of other products including desktop hardware and peripherals, phones, A/V equipment (PCs, notebooks, printers, scanners, and mobile devices)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and significant assignments simultaneously 

• High comfort level in stressful circumstances.  Ability to listen effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure

• Should be able to lift equipment of up to 50 pounds

• Position requires occasional travel to regional offices

• Citrix, Cisco, VMWare and Microsoft certification(s) preferred but not required

• Experience in the Legal IT industry is strongly preferred
