Coordinate with scheduling and filler operator.
Weigh ingredients and blend Dole concentrate.
Pull appropriate amounts and varieties of juices to meet production schedule.
Monitor and verify correct brix, etc.
Add pulp, calcium, etc. when schedule dictates.
Run dumpers and drive forklift when needed.
Clean filters and perform lye outs.
Maintain sanitation and activity logs.
Maintain clean and orderly work area.
May assist other areas when time allows or situation necessitates.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Ability to work well with others. Strong basic math, reading comprehension, and oral communications skills. Ability to think sequentially. Visual and auditory acuity, hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity, and the ability to access work area. Ability to lift 50 lbs. periodically. Ability to enter confined spaces (tanks) and clean them. Ability to maintain sanitation and activity logs. Ability to work safely with sanitizers which are hazardous chemicals (caustics). Ability to perform the job functions in a timely manner consistent with the industry norm and the Company’s experience with the time required to perform the functions.
Education and Experience Preferred:
No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 6 months experience in a food production environment, preferred.
