Survey Technician

The AECOM survey department of the Orlando, Florida AECOM office is seeking an experienced Survey Technician to work at our client site - FDOT District 5 Headquarters in DeLand, FL. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established skills as a Survey Technician for transportation roadway construction/design roadway survey projects.   Selected applicant will enjoy working on a variety of roadway GES FDOT projects.  You will work closely with the AECOM Orlando transportation survey group.  This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of AECOM which is recognized as the #1 transportation engineering company by ENR. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Processing survey field data from our field survey teams and with a minimum of direction process the field survey data using the appropriate Survey software applications to final survey documents including using the Florida DOT District 5 survey document standards.

Experience and skill requirements: 

• High school diploma
• 2+ years experience as a survey technician 
• Experience processing EFB/EFB Windows, CAICE, GEOPAK, Digital Terrain Modeling and Microstation SS2
• Must have strong oral and written communication skill and ability to work in a team environment.
