The Clinical Nurse II independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and development.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION: ASN or RN diploma

PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: One year acute care

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two years, one year charge

REQUIRED LICENSURE: Current Florida RN license

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: BLS

PREFERRED CERTIFICATON: ACLS, PALS

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Interpersonal and customer service skills; critical thinking,
computer skills appropriate to the position, skills as identified on the Pay for Skills grid.
