Description

The Supervisor, Research, oversees the daily department operations including supervision of personnel, procures research studies and determines feasibility, identifies opportunities for growth and expansion, acts as interdepartmental liaison for all research related activities, negotiates contracts and budgets with trial sponsors, external research agencies and investigators to ensure support for research departments. The Supervisor oversees the Research Administrative Review Committee, and is responsible for management of the research software package used to track all aspects of clinical trials and oversight of those using the software package. The Supervisor processes and tracks all incoming and outgoing funds within the research department, completes internal audits at study closures, and ensures billing compliance for patients seen within CHA participating in research trials.
