Description

Assists the Occupational Therapist with the administration of interventions utilized in occupational therapy and rehabilitation. May progress patients/residents in the treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist. May provide direct clinical supervision for Rehabilitation Technicians; Massage Therapists; Athletic Trainers and Fitness Specialists.

Qualifications

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: BLS

PREFERRED CERTIFICATION: LYMPHAD

REQUIRED EDUCATION: AS in Occupational Therapy

PREFERRED EDUCATION: BS in Occupational Therapy

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year in Occupational Therapy

REQUIRED LICENSURE: OT Assistant

REQUIRED SPECIFIC SKILLS: Computer skills appropriate to position, customer service skills, organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, work independently with minimal supervision, teamwork.
