Project Manager, Educational Opportunities Center Grant

Seminole State College of Florida is currently accepting applications for a detailed;experienced Project Manager for our new Educational Opportunities Center Grant Program. The Project Manager develops and directs, under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Student Services all facets of the Educational Opportunities Center (EOC) grant. This position provides project leadership, management, and implementation of grant activities. Creates, manages and monitors support systems designed to increase the likelihood of students succeeding and graduating from high school and transitioning to College. Directs the development, staffing and evaluation of all activities associated with exceeding the requirements as indicated in the EOC grant. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or closely related field. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in 1 or more of the following areas: college student advising/outreach/advisement; working with student populations similar to those identified in the EOC grant. (low income and first generation) 3. Minimum of 1 year of budget management experience. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Three (3) years of experience in counseling or a closely related field. 2. Three years of supervisory experience. 3. Strong understanding and demonstration of college admission processes. 4. Experience managing or coordinating grants.
