Lake County Schools, FL is currently hiring for an Agribusiness Teacher. We are seeking individuals with agriculture experience to teach at South Lake High school in Groveland, FL. South Lake High School serves approximately 1,900 students. Their Agriscience program has won awards at the Forestry Competition and received high rankings in the Floriculture competition. The Agribusiness teacher will deliver instruction on various topics such as Foundations of Agriscience, Agritechnology, as well as utilizing the school’s farm to enhance learning. The purpose of this position is to prepare students for careers in Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources industry.
Salary Range: $40,000 – $59,400 (Salary is determined by years of experience and additional compensation is available for eligible teachers through the Talent Development Pipeline).

REQUIREMENTS:
- Six years’ experience in the agriculture field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. (For example two years’ experience in field and a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture)
