Digital Marketing Director

We are seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Director with a proven track record in leading digital marketing initiatives, including a deep expertise in building integrated, multi phased digital brand & cause focused marketing campaigns that will impact the Y member’s experience as well as engage prospective members.

Under the leadership and direction of the Vice President of Brand and Cause Advocacy, this position will be based out of our corporate office in Downtown Orlando; s/he will lead the strategy, development, management and measurement of multi-channel digital marketing; including; online, mobile, social, email, text, search, display, digital content development / position and emerging channels. The incumbent must have proven experience in a similar-sized organization as the primary system administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing CRM technology solution from IBM, Adobe or Oracle.

This individual will be charged with driving/leading collaborative and forward-thinking relationships with critical digital partners, providing consulting to teams to support our organization and program or product objectives. S/he will ensure digital marketing solutions support the Association's strategic plan and digital objectives (i.e., mission/brand growth, traffic, revenue, membership experience). S/he must be a subject matter expert in the field of digital marketing, identify trends and insights, and optimizes plans based on these insights.

The incumbent must possess superior professional interpersonal skills to establish and nurture relationships with senior executive staff, key external constituents, including the local media, volunteers, Y USA partnerships and industry vendors from corporate and non-profit institutions. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; in the field of Communication Science, Marketing or Business preferred. Master’s degree in Communication Science, Digital Marketing a plus.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience understanding the intersection of media, marketing and technology.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Digital Marketing leading agencies to develop digital campaigns that drive desired outcomes.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience with a marketing CRM tool such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud as an administrator / super user. Salesforce certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) and e-commerce websites/platforms.
  • Expertise in digital planning and prioritization.
  • Desire to innovate, with a knowledge of technology and applying it to digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, content syndication, planning, and executing digital efforts.
  • Articulates a future vision for the digital space and is highly articulate about marketing technology.
  • Energetic, multi-tasker with an aptitude to own and manage projects, demonstrate creativity and put ideas into action.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to translate internal and external consumer data with actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in HTML.
  • An independent, self-directed, proactive team player.
  • Experience managing digital projects within agreed-upon budget parameters.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with digital marketing software and ability to learn Association specific software applications.
  • Proven competence in developing relationships at multiple levels and across functions of an organization.
  • Strong proven ability to operate independently and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines in a fast paced corporate office environment.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and to adapt to changing requirements.
