SUMMARY
Responsible for working with functional areas of the business to understand system change requests and then prepare design documents for the Frontline IT organization to develop from.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create Software Requirements Specifications, use cases, and wireframes for Guidewire configurations and custom software development projects.
- Shepherd ideas through the System Development Life Cycle to ensure new business processes and system changes are documented, developed, tested, and promoted successfully.
- Document and review business process changes throughout the Frontline organization with Functional leads.
- Responsible for assisting in testing of web releases on an as needed basis when requested.
- Perform acceptance testing on Guidewire builds.
- Required to participate in ongoing functional reviews with IT and the appropriate functional leads.
- Train end-users from multiple departments on new programs/functionalities promoted throughout the organization.
- Be the liaison between functional leads, development teams and support teams.
- Clarify requirements prior to delivery of documentation to Application Delivery team.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions.
- Investigate and communicate issues within Guidewire and resolve these issues if possible.
- Work with the Application Delivery team to ensure Test Use Cases are current and correct for existing and new processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Skilled at writing detailed Software Requirements Specification (SRS), use cases, and wireframes.
- Thorough knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience working daily in cross-functional teams.
- Skilled at negotiating consensus among departments that request sometimes conflicting or inconsistent software requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to develop relationship within the system to enhance the appropriate flow of information.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College Degree and 3 - 5 years related experience.
