Summary:
The Room Attendants primary reponsibility is to clean guest rooms for both check-in and stay-over service in accordance with company and brand standards. The Room Attendant acts an ambassador of the hotel by providing any and all information requested by guests including hotel amenities, area attractions, and restaurants. They are to demonstrate the G.U.E.S.T and L.E.A.D.E.R at all times when interacting with guest to ensure a positive experience.

Experience / Education / Certifications:
- High School diploma - preferred
- Customer Service experience – required
- Previous housekeeping experience - preferred
Essential Duties / Tasks / Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
90% - Cleaning & Guest Service / 10 % - Departmental Training & Meetings
- Ensures positive guest experience by utilizing the GUEST service standards and LEADER recovery steps
- Arrive to work on time and in proper uniform
- Arrive to work with a positive attitude
- Participate in daily line-up and regular training/departmental meetings
- Perform stay-over service/check-out service to include: clean room/bathroom with proper cleaning tools/chemicals, make beds, change all linen as needed per check-out /stay-over guidelines, refreshing towels & amenities as needed, dusting with polish, removing all trash, and vacuuming all areas
- Clean, in accordance to company and brand standards, 16 to 22 credits per day at an average of 32 minutes per check-out and 22 minutes per stay-over based on an eight hour day.
- Follow all policies and procedures per GP Handbook and departmental requirements
- Adhere to all safety procedures
- Wear proper footwear
- Respond promptly to guest needs/requests
- Solicit guest feedback to improve quality
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA’s)
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and Grand Performers
- Strong organizational skills
- Guest friendly
- Ability to balance a variety of tasks while maintaining the highest of quality standards
- Ability to read/recognize various tools and chemicals used throughout the cleaning process
- Complete stay-over service by 6 pm
- Complete checkouts by 6 pm
