Career Development Center Database Specialist

Seminole State College of Florida's Career Development Center (CDC) is currently seeking a Database Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The CDC Database Specialist is responsible for The Career Development Center (CDC) database, including employer contacts, students, events and job postings (currently GradLeaders-Career Link “CL”).  This position is responsible for updating and maintaining all data integrity and delivery and for creating processes, procedures, queries, reports, and templates.  Other responsibilities include employer vetting, donation and sponsorship acknowledgements, documentation, and interaction with all college constituents regarding Career Center operations.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Associate’s degree or sixty (60) or more college credit hours from a regionally accredited institution.  
2. Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically MS Excel.
3. Minimum one year of experience using relational databases including customizing and setting up queries, merges, reports, etc.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
2. Two or more years of experience using relational databases.
3. Experience delivering presentations or demonstrations and event planning.  
4 Experience with office administrative duties.
