PROGRAM DATES: June 18 - July 29, 2017 Reporting to the Director of Special Programs, the Youth Camp Director inSt. Petersburg, FLis responsible for complete Youth Camp on-site preparation, staff recruitment, hiring and training, maintenance of a camp budget and the daily supervision and operation of camp activities: Live in the residence halls with the students and serve as a Residence Hall Counselor and Supervisor (6-week timeframe) Recruit, hire, and train Activity Coordinators, teachers and English teachers for assigned Youth Camp Maintain accurate accounting records and expense reports in accordance with the camp budget established by the ELS Special Programs Department Compile all necessary supplies for Youth Camp operations including English classes, activity class, evening activities and weekend excursions Arrange transportation to and from the airport for all youth camp participants and group leaders and arrange transportation for all off-site activities Collect damage deposits and other fees from campers as designated by ELS Special Programs Supervise English teachers and Activity Coordinators, as well as attending chaperones Serve as camp liaison with designated official on-site and arrange for facility usage on-site Coordinate information and planning with immediate supervisor(s) Process ESRs, time sheets etc. for all camp employees Administer the student departure survey Perform all duties related to closing the camp program such as inventories, storage of materials, close out reports etc. Perform other duties as assigned by ELS Special Programs Must be organized, gregarious, enjoys working with international youth, patient, energetic. *** Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States *** Qualifications 0"style="display: none;">Skills 0"> 0"> 0"style="display: none;">Behaviors 0"> 0"> : 0"style="display: none;">Motivations 0"> 0"> : 0">Education 0">Required Bachelors or better. 0"> 0">Experience 0">Required CPR/AED certification; and/or equivalent certification through the American Red Cross or any other established professional medical entity.
