Serve as Industrial Security Specialist for ProActive, Quadrant, and RAPTOR and as Backup/alternate FSO for all three companies.

Job Duties

  • Supports and responds to FSO.
  • Performs tasks for the administration of personnel security clearances, use of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), and proper maintenance of security files.
  • Initiate initial and renewal security clearance, assist employee with the completion of the SF 86, review SF 86 for completeness and accuracy prior to submission to the government.
  • Provide all required security indoctrination and regular training in support of the facility clearance and contracts.
  • Conduct regular self-inspections and assist the FSO in annual DSS SVA’s.
  • Maintain and facilitate the issuance and tracking of government CACs as required.
  • Serve as the RAPIDGate Account Administer.
  • Maintain and facilitate the issuance and tracking of RAPIDGate base access credentials as required.
  • Assist the FSO in writing policies and procedures, developing training aids, and maintenance of the security Share Electronic files.
  • Facilitate local and off site new hire security briefings and debriefings.
  • Operate and maintain intrusion detection and access control systems and monitor CCTV systems.
  • Receipt, transmission and protection/storage of classified material.
  • Send and receive visit letters in JPAS and in paper form when required by program.
  • Track and maintain incoming visit letters and monitor visitors to the facility.
  • Create, program, and maintain all ProActive, Quadrant, and RAPTOR employee badges.
  • Coordinate with HR and the FSO when adverse personnel security issues are identified.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree or advanced training required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years directly related security experience. Security experience in Joint Ventures desirable.
  • Must demonstrate sufficient specialized experience in organizational skills, attention to detail, and competencies to meet the requirements of this position.
  • Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
  • Able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations. Thorough understanding of security databases such as JPAS, e-FCL, ISFD and SWFT Hands on experience processing security clearances
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Completion of Facility Security Officer Program Management course for Possessing Facilities.
  • Current or recent Top Secret clearance preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, communication skills, presentation skills. Organization, prioritization and follow through.

Success in this position requires effective interpersonal skills because the incumbent interacts frequently with government agencies, customers, managers, and employees.

 Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
