SUMMARY: This is a highly multi-functional role and includes sales, customer relationship development, and client engagement oversight. Additionally, the candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to customers in utility communications and IT systems, smart grid, operations and automation, outage management and distributed energy resources and demand response. Knowledge and experience with Investor Owned Utilities (IOU's) is imperative. Candidates for this role must also be able to translate the customer's business, functional and operational processes requirements into business and system solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Engaging and creating affinity with the customer at senior Director to C-level, through demonstration of subject matter knowledge and excellent communication Selling and delivering Communications/IT/SI solutions/services into utilities clients Developing and managing matrix-based teams to propose and deliver engagements to customers Developing and delivery management oversight of Business, IT and Network transformations and implementations Continual growth of sales and delivery into utilities accounts Ability to learn different technologies quickly and adapt projects to meet client needs Experience in systems integration, testing and software lifecycle processes in both small and large team environments Ability to lead a program, project or management tasks as needed to resolve issues and meet deadlines Ability to define new work or add-on work and drive sales into client environments Ability to develop and maintain and cultivate client relationships Ability to motivate team and maintain morale and a positive work environmentKEY QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree in Engineering, IT or technology a plusMBA, preferred 7 + years of sales experience with the Utility industry 2-3 years system integration, project management, or business process consulting expertise Strong expertise in the business and technical operations of Investor Owned Utilities in North America (US& Canada). Knowledge of Transmission and Distribution Companies.Digitalization Telecom IT Asset Management OMS DMS Integrating with AMI, Scheduling and management Deep business, process, IT, and network knowledge Prior business and management experience within the delivery and sales arenaADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Excellent oral, written and presenting skills Experienced leading large teams through process flows analysis, root cause analysis, redesign, implementation, and identifying& correcting control issues Experience in working with clients to identifying and define business, technical, and functional requirements Strong leadership skills; experience managing remote teams is beneficial.
