Paralegal - Station Operations

As owner of the nation s largest broadcast station group, ION Media Networks 62 stations are positioned in 24 of the top 25 markets. This position will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of lease agreements for station studios and towers, working with Station Operations management on various filings and compliance related to ION s television stations including the Post Spectrum Station Repack. RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the Corporate Legal Group to assist with certain FCC matters related to station license compliance. Prepare the FCC required plans and supporting documentation for the repack of each affected station including, project plan, permits and required documentation. Track the reimbursement of costs and other inquiries from FCC, Vendors and Contractors related to the repack. Work closely with the Corporate Legal Group to understand ION s FCC licenses and requirements for annual compliance. Maintain the contracts and leases contained for all Station Operations including summaries and proper organization of these files, renewal and termination options, payment escalators, and other related matters. Work on assignments and/or projects, as assigned.
