Please call at (813) ###-#### Denture Technicians work in all Phases of the denture creation process. From: Models, Wax, Setup, Process and Finish. We are seeking someone who is particularly skills with the Setup category. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions of the Position: Completely read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist. Confirm that all items needed are present and in suitable condition Create molds of wax-ups and models out of duplicating material Prepare teeth, models and molds for processing Assemble items correctly in duplicating flasks Prepare acrylic accordingly and pour into flasks Set into processing mode Complete cases according to work schedule, notify supervisor of late cases Inspect the set-up and wax-up to verify that it is not broken or damaged Process the Duraflex, Acrylic, Night guards, or any other special needs case. Review final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the work on. Support manager and team coordinator in creating positive atmosphere within department Cleans individual work area in department per schedule. Skills and Abilities Required: 5 years experience as a Dental Technician. Strong spatial ability, good eye hand coordination, excellent perception skills and superior attention to details. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. Logical, analytical thinker with the ability to process information and formulate decisions. Dependable and reliable; willing to take on needed duties to fulfill the goals of this operation and take responsibility for actions. Able to use a hand piece. Able to coordinate and handle a variety of different assignments. Flexible and open to frequent change, supporting the efforts of the organization.
