The Reservation Sales Agent position is responsible for all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate tour or excursion.  Assisting drivers and guides as well as any other adhoc duties presented to you.

The duties of the Reservation Sales Agent position include, but are not limited to, the following activities: - Correctly and attractively describing tours and excursions, offering up-sell options, and describing the features of the tours in general both face to face as well as over the phone - Obtaining detailed guest information and processing the reservation.

  • Must possess a true commitment to drive sales and providing excellent customer service, and be a hardworking team player with the ability to excel in a fast paced environment while remaining professional at all times.
  • Superior people development and communication skills.
  • Basic skills in data analysis and the use of personal computers (Microsoft Office).
  • Possess a pleasant and accommodating demeanor and a desire to help others 
  • Multitasking and an extreme attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Duties:

  • Accommodate and document special requests.
  • Answer questions about tours and Excursions.
  • Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Input and access data in reservation system.
  • Indicate wholesale reservation types by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system.
  • Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
  • Prepare all paperwork for Drivers and guides daily activities.
