This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to fulfill customer's needs, requirements and operate under company policies and procedures. Key Duties: Complete shipment process in Cargowise, including data entry, pickup/delivery scheduling, AES entry, interfacing with customs brokers, routing and operational milestone updates. Verify all shipment documentation is completed and retained in Cargowise eDocs Proactive written and verbal communication with customers, vendors, and AIT Offices/partners throughout the globe Ensure all customers SOP s instructions are met and followed Ensure all customers AIT KPI s and guidelines are met and followed Ensure all shipments are properly billed within company guidelines and timelines Work with gateway and air carriers to book all shipments Send pre-alerts to customers and overseas partners Other duties and responsibilities as business deemed necessary Required Education and Professional ExperienceHigh School Degree or equivalent Minimum of 0-3 years experience in air freight export Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent team building skills Strong ability to work under pressure and resolve conflict Basic knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities and airports along with basic knowledge of U.S. Regulatory Laws Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks Strong PC skills Analytical and problem solving skills About AIT Founded in 1979, Itasca, Illinois-based AIT Worldwide Logistics is a full service transportation management provider.
