Housekeeping/Custodial Training Manager

The Opportunity:

The Housekeeping/Custodial Training Manager partners with Operations Training, Labor, local leaders and other partners in identifying needs and providing effective job-specific training to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the Cast Members in the Housekeeping and Custodial areas. This position will report to the local Housekeeping Director.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Supporting on-boarding, on-going training, cyclical cleaning efforts, and align training hours to individual housekeeper needs
  • Partnering with training leaders in leading training efforts in a high quality and timely manner
  • Monitoring the on-boarding process to ensure it is delivered in an effective consistent manner
  • Valuating OJT and continuous learning while partnering with training leaders, representing operational expertise and partnership with local housekeeping and custodial leaders
  • Communicating with Operations and Training partners
  • Proposing training solutions and implementing and sustaining the overall LOB training strategy
  • Reinforcing the quality of training in local areas to ensure Cast Members are successful in their roles
  • Partnering with Line of Business contacts on operating guides content to ensure procedures match with all updates

What We’re Looking for:

  • Minimum of three years leadership experience in Housekeeping or Custodial areas
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills and ability to build and sustain stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to build and motivate effective teams
  • Proven self-starter requiring minimal direction, follow-up and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct organizational analysis and identify all areas in which Operations Training can be a strategic business partner
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels
  • High school degree or equivalent
