AdelCare II Inc home care services have been helping families since 2004. We provide Personal Supports, Respite Care and LSD1 - Companion Services through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Medicaid Waiver and Personal Care Services for individuals under 21 years old through Medicaid.

Schedule:

Saturdays 2:00pm to 10:00pm 

Position Summary: 

Assist a 22 y/o male with Autism with basic activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and oral care. Participate in meaningful activities, train and assistance to be more independent on instrumental activities of daily living. Supervise while legal guardian is unavailable. 

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to redirect behaviors (not aggressive)
• Must be flexible with schedule, may need different hours on a Saturday every 3 months. 
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening and local law background. 
• Must have at least one year of verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting or working with people who have a developmental disability.  In lieu of the required work experience, you may have 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or 720 classroom hours of college or vocational school.
