Senior Sales Manager

The Embassy Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista South is currently accepting applications for Senior Sales Manager.

The position is required (and not limited) to perform the following duties:

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to achieve individual and team group room booking goals.
• Negotiate group room rates, banquet food & beverage minimums, meeting room rental, and hotel services within approved group booking guidelines.
• Conducts tours of the hotel and meeting facilities as required.
• Prospect via telephone, email, and hotel provided tools to uncover group sales leads
• Attends and represents hotel at trade shows, outside sales calls/customer visits, and hotel industry events.
• Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of group/convention sales experience at hotel (s) with 25,000 square feet or more of meeting/event space. 

Skills:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, sales and negotiation abilities, group/Event sales agreement/contract knowledge is required, attention to detail, planning and organizational abilities, able to travel, Delphi proficient and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
