Shriners Hospitals for Children - Tampa is looking for a Clinical Education Coordinator. This position will serve as educator, mentor and consultant to clinical staff as well as non-clinical staff. The Education Coordinator will collaborate with directors / managers in selection of and compliance monitoring competencies. This position will also conduct new employee and nursing orientation and assists with orientation learning needs of staff, students, and others. Other duties are planning inservices to meet priority needs, as identified by needs assessment, new practice standards, and required organizational programs and develops; conducting and supervising training and development programs for employees and coordinating annual mandatory training. The Education Coordinator will also manage the school affiliation agreements and coordinate nursing students as well as assist the Director of Patient Care Services in ongoing hospitalwide programs such as patient safety and patient experience.
