Job DescriptionThe MTech Warehouse Technician performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.We are a company that takes great pride in our customer service and ability to resolve customer problems and issues quickly and efficiently, therefore in some situations you will be required to work very quickly and under somewhat stressful conditions in order to address customer needs without sacrificing the quality of our brand.Along with those responsibilities you will also be required to maintain an efficient and productive work area that will allow you to preform your duties in a professional and effective manner.Main ResponsibilitiesCounts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items and compare received items against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other recordsExamines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectifyCompletes paperwork or forms required for documentation.Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates; prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping; prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading.Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.Transports, prepares and boxes devices and equipment to build and prepares for deliveryAbility to work in a high volume, fast-paced environmentAbility to follow established process and procedures via all forms of communication (phone, email, chat).Works effectively with management and team members to quickly address problems as they arise.Escalate issues to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.Contribute to ongoing Quality Improvement initiatives.Performs other related tasks, as assigned.Inform management of recurring problems, trends as identifiedKey CompetenciesBe able to work various shifts as required including weekend hours.Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.Willing to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong work ethic and responsible for being on time and working until the job is complete.Ability to work in a collaborative work environment.Willingness to contribute and support a Knowledge sharing culture.Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal, Written, Interpersonal, Proactive listening).Balance multiple & shifting prioritiesInnovative thinking and problem solvingEffective time managementEducation and ExperienceHave a high school diploma and minimal knowledge of warehouse policies and best practices.
