Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Acting as a main point of contact between Traka and customers to ensure a smooth installation and handover of systems, the Project Coordinator will work at building a strong customer and reseller relationship to ensure projectsare managed effectively and efficiently working within contractual terms and expectations to generate a world class customer experience from start to finish. Also acts as part of the Technical Support Group, therefore technical knowledge and/or access control experience is not necessary but considered a plus.Where required the Project Coordinator will visit customer sites carrying out a pre-site consultations to ensure system architecture is thought through and Health and Safety standards of Traka and the customer are assessed. Project Coordinator will also ensure the site is prepared and ready for installation, discuss IT requirements and provide the customer with the appropriate pre-installation documentation. Act as a key conduit between RSM s, production and sales engineering teams as required to meet customer installation expectations and timelines. As needed, the Project Coordinator will closely oversee install and service projects to ensure that the end user receives solutions in accordance with expectations, including staff training as needed to ensure a smooth integration into the customer s daily management processes.Essential Functions:Visiting customer sites around North America is an part of this role to attend meetings, site visits, oversee installation and training as needed.Document meetings and action points for follow up.Ensure that the Traka products are delivered to the customer in the specifications agreed and the customer site is prepared and ready for installation.Check all orders and build sheets are correct in line with customer expectations and work across teams in Traka to make necessary amendments.To maintain close contact with customers and resellers to build good relationships during the period between sale and delivery ensuring that relevant Traka staff are kept fully informed of the current project status.Organize project planning meetings internally and externally to ensure that any technical developments required to the system are understood and actioned within agreed timeframes.To provide all completed project pre-work documentation to TSG team at least 48 hours before site visit.Work with Operations Manager to implement processes and procedures that formalize internal processes that will increase the customer satisfaction experience.Carry out internal trainings ensuring staff are competent to install, service and support all Traka systems and that training remains ongoing.Ensure jobs are carried out effectively and efficiently working to the number of days sold on project management.Monitor project travel budgets in accordance with overall Traka USA operations budgets.Promote H&S at all times working with the customer for safe installation of systems.Manage project risks and deal with any issues arising accordingly.Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager from time to time.Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:Information Technology, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering degree preferred or equivalent certifications and experienceManufacturer certifications for enterprise-level security systems a plus and highly desirable (e.g. Lenel OnGuard, Software House CCURE9000, AMAG Symmetry etc.).Experience in solution selling, designs or installation.2-5 years experience in the security industry working for the manufacturer and / or security integrator is a plusKnowledge of access control technology and integrated security solutions is essential.Passionate about providing outstanding customer service.Must be comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment and able to multi-task.Excellent attention to detail is a must.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Team player who will work closely with other departments.Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative.Ability to prioritize workloads and tasks.Flexibility and adaptability in tackling new tasks.Skilled in Problem Solving, Product Knowledge, Selling to Customer Needs, Establishing Software Requirements, Product Development, Presentation Skills, General Programming concepts, Technical Understanding, Verbal Communication, Requirements Analysis, Innovation.Physical Requirements:Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.Ability to work with graphic display units, touchscreens, etc.Ability to lift, roll and carry demo equipment up to 50 lbs during travels - plane, vehicle, etcWork Conditions:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
