Maintenance Technician

Job Description:Tracking Code. 3845-131. Job Description. SAFETY. * Keeps maintenance areas clean and orderly, follows all company procedures and safety policies. Maintains a safe environment for plant personnel. * Keeps all areas of the plant where maintenance is in progress clean and orderly to aid in the prevention of accidents. * Maintains maintenance equipment and tools in safe working order. * Follows lockout/tagout, confined spaces, hot work permits and related safety policies. PRODUCTION. * Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain all plant equipment in good working condition. * Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance (PM) activities. * Work with other employees/contractors to complete assigned tasks. * Performs all other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Lead. QUALITY. * Adheres to all quality assurance policies and standards. Required Skills. * At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. * PLC and relay logic troubleshooting skills required. * High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to perform mathematical exercises of moderate complexity. * Must display a mechanical/electrical aptitude. * Must be computer literate utilizing Microsoft software. * Must be able to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
