Lead Installation Technician

Job DescriptionMY Shower Door is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and professional candidate to work out of our Sarasota location. The Lead Installation Technician is a full-time position that is responsible for the proper installation of our frameless shower door product; providing quality and excellence to exceed customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Must have a clean driving record and a Florida driver s license Must be able to conduct self professionally and maintain professional appearance Must have excellent listening and communication skills Ability to deliver high quality results and strong attention to detail Must have excellent people skills Ability to work as a team player with associates Working knowledge of basic math skills to include fractions Mechanically inclined with ability to use necessary tools to measure shower enclosures includes stick ruler measure, tape measure, and levels Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthyAll candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkAdditional responsibilities include: Installation of high quality frameless glass shower enclosures involving compound angles, channel, clips, clamps, headers, etc. Drilling of tile, marble, granite, and other stone based materials to mount various required hardware Handling and lifting of glass up to 100 lbs. repeatedly over an 8-hour period Lay out of shower glass panels on sills, walls, etc., to provide a quality outcome. Produce a finished product that is of high quality fit of all hardware and glass. Cutting and measuring of metals, hangars, and understanding of functions of all hardware Problem solving and improvising to best solution to fitting of glass and all hardware to meet customer satisfaction Oversee installation helper, including training and development to progress to lead installer Maintain tools and truck inventory for maximum efficiency to do shower enclosure installs Embrace company s culture of quality, service and continuous improvement.
