We are seeking a detail oriented, highly organized individual with strong problem solving and communication skills to work in the Accounts Payable department within Oldcastle Southern Group.This is a Temp to Permanent Position. Essential Duties: Process and maintain Accounts Payable records and resolve queries within an automated, high volume environment. Check for accuracy of expenses and payments being recorded to the general ledger. Process Travel and Entertainment expenses using an automated system. Scanning, indexing, sorting, and data entry of supplier invoices. Resolve invoice discrepancies (including duplicate invoices) utilizing multiple systems. Assist in month end close activities including accruals, and journal entry preparation. Have a good understanding of fiscal periods. Support Accounting and audits (internal, external, 1099s, etc.) Adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications: High School Diploma Better than average 10 Key by touch skills Accuracy and attention to detail is a must. Limited knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
