Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
 * Sets up and performs BRAKE operations on AMADA style Brake Machinery to specifications of work orders and fabrication prints/drawings without supervision.
* Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings or fabrication prints as needed for accurate and safe brake operation.
* Must understand and calculate bend deduction allowances as required to properly and safely set up air bend tooling.
* Applicant must be able to follows work order directions and safely produces required quantity of parts efficiently and within the required tolerance and cosmetic quality.
* Must follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
* Applicant is required to perform inspection on own work to prove required dimensional tolerances and cosmetic requirements are met before submitting to Department Lead or QC for monitoring.
* Must possess their own accurate mechanical measuring tools of the craft (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
* Completes work priorities as assigned by supervisors.
* Must cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment.
* Must complete time and data entry into company data acquisition system in accordance with company policy.
* Must performs light level daily maintenance on assigned brake press equipment.
* Understands and follows company quality policy.

Required Qualifications
* Must be able to read and interpret blueprints or mechanical drawings involving brake operations.
* Must possess sufficient visual acuity (correctable) to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced.
* Must know how to safely set up and run AMADA style Brake machinery
* Sufficient manual dexterity to operate machines safely and properly.
* Physical ability to do work requiring frequent lifting, stooping and bending.
* Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry 75 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Work well with others and be a team member
• Display and maintain enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work
