Job DescriptionWestmont Hospitality Extended stay is looking for a Renovation Coordinator who can start immediately.Overview:The Renovation Coordinator is responsible for maintaining open communication between WHG leadership, property GM s, residents and the renovation contractor teams, assisting in the scheduling move ins/outs and transfers, maintaining accurate records, and executing quality customer service, while assisting in renovation workflow.Responsibilities:Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all renovation related processes, ordering, paperflow.Assist GM s with the scheduling of move-in, move-out transfer and renovation scheduling processesAssist in the preparation and ensure renovation schedules are consistent with property needs, eliminating revenue lossResponsible for documenting key information that is communicated to the property and contractor teams / representative for the purposes in a timely mannerParticipate in property inspections (where nessesary).Perform various administrative tasks relating to ordering, receiving, scheduling , reno close outs, payables, and additional as needed or as directed by WHG leadership Qualifications:Education/Experience and Technical Requirements:Experience in hotel/motel, multi-family or student housing experience highly preferredPosition requires a high energy and organized individualProficient in all Microsoft Office softwareAbove-average spelling, grammar, punctuation and business-writing skills required.Excellent communication skills are essential. Ability to articulate thoughts in a professional, clear and empathetic manner while building rapport appropriate to the situation.Ability to handle and respond to conflict while maintaining an appropriate level of professionalismExcellent time management and prioritizing tasks; Must meet deadlines.Creative problem solver with do whatever it takes to get the job done approachA passion for helping college students find their next homePhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer)The person in this position frequently communicates with property managers, contractors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Critical Duties: Prepares purchase orders and quote requests and oversees invoice review / project coding for all common area purchases. Monitors and maintains budgets previously given for each specific project and elevates any concerns or issues. Coordinates and executes installs for both renovations and new developments. Procures unit furniture, including quote requests, and the review of product finish, style and quantities for each project.
