We are a high-end provider of Tanker and Dry Bulk services to Fortune 100 companies in the South, Southeast and Midwest. We have a fleet of over 450 Peterbilt trucks and over 700 trailers located out of multiple terminals.Position Summary:Supports local terminal by performing light repair and servicing on light, mid and heavy duty vehicles and trailers.Responsibilities include: Engine, transmission, frame, electrical system, diagnostic evaluation Troubleshooting brake, tire and fluid service on class 8 vehicles and DOT trailers. On an "as-needed" basis position will be required to perform work off-site for service calls, work overtime or work on alternative shifts. Uses computerized maintenance management system to log repairs performed and parts issued to equipment.Qualifications: Has basic mechanical hands on knowledge. Has worked in the trucking or automotive industry or similar schooling. Has basic set of tools.
