Maintenance Mechanic
Rollins College

Winter Park, Florida

Rollins College is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform routine servicing, repair and maintenance for plumbing, HVAC and minor electrical systems. Duties also involve miscellaneous painting and carpentry work (drywall patching, furniture repair, staging and riser setup/tear-down, installation/repair of acoustical ceilings), as well as periodic maintenance of pool equipment, filters and pump systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 2-4 years of job-related experience
  • Knowledge of tools, techniques and procedures of miscellaneous plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry repair and installation
  • Supply of personal tools required to perform the work
  • Knowledge of local city ordinances and codes and OSHA workplace safety standards
  • Valid DL in order to pick up/deliver parts or equipment as needed
