Busy, fast paced, geriatric practice is looking for an experienced, Certified Medical Assistant for a full time position M-F 40 hr/wk.
- Welcomes patients in a warm, and welcoming manner.
- Prepares patient for the office visit with the Physician.
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient.
- Supports patient care delivery by preparing charts, laboratory specimens, and patient rooms.
- Patient education as requested by the Physician.
- Completes records by recording patient information and results.
- Work HEDIS gap reports in order to meet yearly STARS goals.
- Experience with Availity and MediSoft is a plus.
- Must be organized and have the ability to prioritize your responsibilities.
