Payroll&Recruitment Coordinator Position Summary: The position has responsibility to support two primary functions: payroll and recruiting. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, this position is integral to providing outstanding HR services to the Kobie organization. This is a varied role in a fast paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Payroll: Provide timely and accurate processing and recording of the company s payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees Review, analyze, check and correct payroll records Review and reconcile non-exempt time sheet reports Create and maintain payroll account codes Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance Process manual checks when needed Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary Provide accurate reporting for each payroll to Accounting Dept. Update submission reports for HSA, 401(k), etc. for each payroll Other duties as assigned Recruiting: Schedule the high volume of all candidate phone and in person interviews with hiring managers and interview teams Coordinate all logistics and communicate interview details to candidate Complete reference checks for candidates receiving offers of employment Ensure Applicant Tracking system is updated with all interview and reference details Provide a high level of customer service to the recruitment team Other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of payroll practices Proficient in Paycom payroll software preferred Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Effective oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook Great attention detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines High sense of urgency Ability to provide the highest level of customer service Education and Work Experience: A Bachelor's Degree preferred and three (3) to five (5) years of experience processing multi-state payroll Working knowledge of payroll best practices Experience processing payroll for an employee base of 350+ exempt and non-exempt employees. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations Experience assisting a recruitment team preferred
