Mechanical Assembler

Job DescriptionAs a Mechanical Assembler, you will be required to use small hand tools and assemble large parts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience from a technical school, or time spent assembling heavy machinery such as cars, boats, etc. Job Duties: Build heavy vehicles from the frame to completion Use material handling equipment to move parts, components and subassemblies from one work or storage area to another as required. Complete required assembly documentation Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Technical / vocational / or military training or related experience is helpful, but not required 6 months mechanical assembly experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to use hand and air tools, measuring devices and assembly fixtures.
