We are currently recruiting for our Sebring, FL Mechanical Packaging Group (MPG). This is a technical service group that employs approximately 10 people. The location operates a machine shop in the heart of Highlands County, solely dedicated to providing associated support, rebuilds, installs and maintenance on some of the industry s most sophisticated and modern box forming equipment and corrugated parts. A Day in The Life Typically Includes: Traveling to customer facilities and job sites with short notice to respond to customer related mechanical and electrical maintenance issues Safely and efficiently providing installation, maintenance and repairs on all parts and electro-mechanical equipment in compliance with manufacturer and company standards and procedures What Will You Need? Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Willing and able to work any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends, and overtime, as needed At least two (2) years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Willing and able to maintain a valid United States Driver s License Experience with welding and fabrication Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and working with the following:PLC s HMI s A/C&D/C motors Drives Encoders Resolvers Control systems Bearings Gearboxes Hydraulic and pneumatics Drive systems Willing and able to work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high volume environment What Will Put You Ahead? Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the corrugated industry At least (3) three years of experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance mechanic Technical certification or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Instrumentation or Electronic Technology Previous experience working with Microsoft office to include MS Word (creating documents), Excel (creating spreadsheets, utilizing formulas,&analyzing data), and Outlook (scheduling meeting invites&emailing) Willing and able to obtain and maintain a valid Passport Why Work For GP?
