Description:  Conduct face-to-face evaluations for assigned new clients resulting in full diagnostic impressions and recommendation for level of treatment.  Conduct and coordinate group sessions at the office.  Coordinate the continuation of services for office based clients including but not limited to biopsychosocials, therapy, and treatment plans.  Provide clients with accurate diagnoses that meet the criteria identified in the DSM-IV.  Determine the level of service needed based on the severity of the client’s symptoms and notify staff if the level of service recommended is different than what was approved on the screening form.

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in social work or a human service related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • Licensed in the State of Florida as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or School Psychologist required.
  • Medicaid number required.
  • Supervisor experience.
  • Able to rotate an on call/after hours schedule.
  • 2 years of experience and competence in assessing and diagnosing mental health and developmental disorders in children, adolescents and adults.
  • Successful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI.
