Shipping Specialist

Oviedo Distribution Company is seeking a Shipping Specialist.  

Will be responsible for the shipping/receiving, and picking and packing functions in a warehouse environment.

Primary Duties:

• Receive, unpack, verify and record incoming material
• Timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as packing lists, manifests and invoices, to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Process, return material, sales orders, work orders, and internal inventory transfers and adjustments
• Process the proper documentation for courier/Carrier shipments for both incoming and outgoing, and both international and domestic
• Report damaged items not noted at time of delivery to appropriate individuals and prepare related paperwork as necessary
• Must maintain an organized and clean work area and warehouse
• Will be required to maintain stock on shipping materials and supplies
• Enter any shipping information
• Conducts Inventory cycle counts
• Interacts with Customer Service department
• Performs other duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Salary: $10.00 - $11.00 an hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 (30 minute unpaid Lunch)

Term: Fulltime to Hire
