Job DescriptionThe Communications Coordinator, (reports to the Executive Director), is a permanent part-time position (20-25 hours/week) for a team member with the desire to serve Christ and His church, with a servant's heart, maturity, courtesy, patience and perseverance. This position is responsible for internal ad external communications, including website administration and social media, which encourages and excites members and others to actively participate in church ministries RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and elevate VPC to the next level in the area of social media and visual arts Produce error-free publications Direct ways to exhibit VPC ministry activity to the surrounding community Maintain the church webpage, keeping it updated and relevant with current technology Publish e-blasts, weekly bulletin, newspaper ads/articles, The Messenger, and Annual Reports Work with Concert Series Team to create advertisements to market the series Create publications as needed with staff and ministry teams to publicize VPC ministries internally and to the community Oversee print room and equipment Design graphics to support sermon series Oversee information in pews, racks and bulletin boards of the church Attend meetings as directed by the Executive Director Maintain an active prayer life Other duties as assigned Company Description900 member church with, 17 staff members located in southwest Sarasota County, FL
