Requisition Number 17-0024 Post Date 3/21/2017 Title Loan Accounting Specialist Division Florida Location Clearwater Operations City Clearwater State FL Description Under the direct supervision of the Loan Accounting Team Leader and Loan Accounting Supervisor, is responsible for efficient and accurate processing of any type of loan disbursements, loan payments, credit line advances, loan file maintenance, filing, faxing, sort and distribute reports, mail notices and billings, research, copying and providing quality service to internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions:Maintain a current working knowledge of all internal policies and procedures, laws and regulations.

Initiates and maintains a thorough working knowledge of software and equipment utilized by the department and can competently assist co-workers with the same.

Complete data entry of loan disbursing including payments and advances to loan operation system.

Process accurately the daily functions and understand posting of loan general ledger transactions.

Process accurately the daily functions of processing paid out satisfactions and recordings.

Process accurately the daily functions of legal documents relating to loan filesProvide feedback concerning out-of-balance conditions.

Sort, distribute, prepare and/or assemble data for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Maintains a cooperative and professional manner with internal and external customers.

Promotes and protects the interest in the Bank at all times.

Responsible for compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC regulations related to this position.

Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.

1 year loan operations experience or 2 years of banking experienceLoan documentation knowledge preferred.

Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent oral and written communication skillsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
