Overview:

  • To generate maximum sales efficiencies while providing leadership & support to the Project’s Leadership Team by reinforcing effective sales and customer service practices, behaviors and results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the profitability of the Project by meeting or exceeding sales targets at or below budgeted sales and marketing expense.
  • Develop future Vistana Signature Experiences leaders while implementing company directed self-development programs.
  • Ensure sales and marketing management implements philosophy of tour efficiency, and is profit driven while building strong team values.
  • Participate in forecast and budget of sales targets
  • Ensures communication and coordination with related departments including but not limited to Resort Operations, Marketing, and Sales Operations.
  • Develops a high performance sales and leadership team through proper recruitment, selection, training, performance management and coaching.
  • Ensures site payroll system is established and maintained in conjunction with company policies and procedures including adherence to wage and hour laws.
  • Oversees and makes decisions on SOP’s and ensure same are updated, communicated and adhered to.
  • Ensures sales training, coaching and development programs are in place and adhered to. Ensures proper and consistent on-boarding practices are in place for site.
  • Creating and implementing on-going initiatives to increase sales to ensure the success of the business model.
  • Analyzing monthly P&L to discover challenges and makes decisions to ensure cost containment and the success of the project. 
  • Establishes pro-forma’s with analyst to ensure validity of decision making process.
  • Establish and modify compensation plans for business model as needed.
  • Support/coordinate/implement all major roll-outs of company initiatives to Project.
  • Supervision of all Sales Management Levels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Project Director Equivalent or above role.
  • Minimum 5 years sales/marketing vacation ownership management experience.
  • Strong leadership and development skills.
  • Strong financial acumen (forecasts, budgets, P&L’s, etc.).
  • Branded sales experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
