The chief operating officer (COO) provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

The accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company.

The COO has overall responsibility for company s US production as well as for the building and investments in equipment/machinery for the factory.

Core competencies in the factory is primarily assembly of product.

, secondary competencies are metalworking and plastic molding.

In addition to production, is responsible for tool department and maintenance.

Must be at the forefront of the technical development and to be instrumental in the development and optimization of the factory so that it meets the strictest demands for delivery security and quality required by company s customers.

Reports to: President US and Supply Chain Director.

Corporate Goals: Delivery service at +95%.

Year on year cost reduction.

Quality at global level.

Achieve annual EBIT budget.

Innovation per start on green documents.

Supporting the sales organization.

Running a lean organization both overhead and labor.

and Experience: Bachelor s degree in engineering.

Solid technical and management experience combined with a relevant technical education (Engineering level) and a good insight into the metal processing industry.

There will be focus on ability to lead, motivate and develop the staff.

Should have both strong engineering and assembly experience.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Competencies.

Documented results from running an assembly operation with a full supply chain including procurement, logistics engineering and innovation.

Company is currently not ISO 9001 certified but with an ambition to fully meet the of the ISO standard it is important that you are familiar with quality management tools.

Knowledge about LEAN will be highly relevant, combined with a broad insight and experience in resource optimization both technically and concerning staff.

Strong change management skills and experience.
