Accounts Payable Representative, AP Rep, Clerk

Summary

This position is responsible for processing supplier invoices, preparing payments for suppliers and completing all tasks assigned within the Accounts Payable department in a timely manner as specified by management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performing reservation administration/sold out agent duties including reservation queues.

  • Process invoices received by suppliers within the timeframe set by Tourico.
  • Payments: responsible for submitting payments ensuring that credit limits are not exceeded and payments are not duplicated nor exceed amount invoiced.
  • Ensure checks are prioritized and mailed out accordingly, and filed appropriately.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls from Accounts Payable Call Loop within a timely manner.
  • Answer assigned generic email boxes assigned to you on a daily basis.
  • Research and process all rate discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations received.
  • Special Projects. This entails any project deemed necessary by supervisors/management.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 1-2 years accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills Required.
