Overview *Please note, this is an extremely labor-intensive role.
Qualified candidate must be willing to work outside in hot, humid, dry, wet or dusty conditions.
This is NOT an office role.
* Arrow Environmental Services is looking for a driven Pest Service Professional.
Over the past 50 years, Arrow Environmental Services has built a strong reputation in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia as a quality pest control provider and committed community partner.
Bug Out Service was the first pest control company in the area to go green and provide environmentally friendly pest control services.
As a Pest Service Professional, you will have a designated route where you will be responsible for fulfilling a daily production schedule, operating under limited supervision, arriving to customers in a timely basis, explaining the scope of services you will provide for them, controlling insects, rodents and other pests involving application of professional products and tactics while upholding EPS core values.
Our Pest Service Professionals will conduct home and property inspections by identifying potential and actual pest problems, remove unwanted pests including but not limited to roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, etc.
, and offer detailed plans on how to effectively treat infestation areas and design further control strategies such as Integrated Pest Management.
These inspections will be conducted in crawlspaces beneath houses, potentially confined spaces, attics near the roof of the house, and in climates including hot and humid summer conditions.
Maintain service schedules for all customers on assigned route, calling customer prior to their service.
Provide excellent communication and people skills to build trust and create positive customer experiences.
Inspect/Troubleshoot pest infestations as needed to employ sound pest control strategies to maintain a pest free environment for customers on assigned route.
Communicate effectively with customers prior to, during and after service delivery in order to assess and meet their needs.
Continuously monitor infestation/rodent areas and pest application methods (i.
e.
baits, traps, etc.
) after application and communicate progress to customers and operation managers.
Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
Communicate in conjunction with sales staff in order to meet client expectations.
Ability to read and understand product/PPE labels accurately to ensure that they are properly applied, stored and disposed of in compliance with State and Federal laws.
Participate in ongoing training programs to constantly improve upon skill level.
Complete and submit service related paperwork in a timely and orderly fashion.
Maintain assigned service vehicle, equipment and tools in clean/good working condition.
Adhere and abide to all driving laws/company policies when operating company vehicles.
Ability to work with limited supervision and complete all scheduled productions stops.
Other duties as assigned.
Complete a minimum of High School diploma.
requires successful completion of 30-day initial training (classroom and field training) and earning minimum of two CEU s annually.
Must have valid driver license, be 21 years of age, and meet minimum eligibility criteria of insurance carrier.
Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 50lbs or more.
Operate primarily outside in cramped spaces, hot, humid, wet, dry, dusty, and noisy conditions.
Ability to listen, clarify, and resolve customer issues with empathy and integrity.
Use pest control equipment safely like a company issued ladder, pump up sprayer, backpack sprayer, aerosol applicators, wall injection applicator, attic blower, mobile device, and other equipment.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
Interpersonal skills and ability to connect and respond to customer needs is a must.
Participate in collections efforts.
Ability to calculate basic math.
