Job Description/Responsibilities:
We are seeking a candidate with strong organizational skills to assist in processing bi-weekly payrolls, plus accounting and reporting for payroll. The ideal candidate must possess a positive can-do attitude that thrives on meeting deadlines and a solid work ethic with a calendar driven focus. Requirements:
- Payroll processing or TPA experience preferred.
- BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting a huge plus.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal wage and labor laws, payroll taxes and other procedural requirements in the U.S. helpful.
- Detail-oriented.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
- Able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues.
- Possess good customer service skills and overall understanding of accounting.
- Possess strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
Skills:
- Thorough knowledge and proven experience with MS Office and Excel.
- Ability and willingness to respond and adapt to changing technology.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Understanding of payroll compliance and effective comprehension associated with the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Good customer service skills.
