We have 70 locations throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Lake, Seminole, and Orange counties with plans for future growth. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Administrator with OBGYN experience preferred to join our dynamic team located in the Orlando area.

JOB SUMMARY:  

The primary goal of the Regional Practice Administrator is to support the Practice Management Specialist(s) in the assigned Region. The Regional Practice Administrator is to ensure maximum utilization of resources within the physician practice.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support onsite Practice Management Specialist(s) with daily operations of the clinics and/or physician practices
  • Oversees all duties and/or activities assigned to Practice Management Specialist(s) to ensure completion and follow through
  • Works to mentor and develop Practice Management Specialist(s) to foster a supportive team environment
  • Plays directive role in practice strategic direction
  • Supports and fosters business partner cohesion to facilitate an effective decision making environment
  • Works with onsite Practice Management Specialist(s) to increase productivity throughout the practice including staff utilization, provider utilization, and overall clinic utilization
  • Organizes and facilitates monthly staff and Physician Team Meeting, assigned by Region
  • Collaborates with Practice Management Specialist(s) to identify, research and present potential opportunities for overall business growth and development
  • Establishes and maintains professional community relationships with outside clinics/hospitals and physicians/physician offices
  • Implement Women’s Care Florida and Physician Business Services (PBS) policies and procedures
  • Acts as the support liaison between PBS and the assigned Practice Management Specialist; assisting with providing communication, information, and feedback from the central business office (CBO)to the Practice Management staff
  • Manage all required health care office licenses and certifications by site location
  • Coordinate submission of new license/certification applications for health care office sites
  • Oversee renewal process or coordinate renewal process for required licenses and certifications
  • Maintain tracking and documentation process for managing site licenses and certifications
  • Establishes a system for collecting and organizing data to be used in monitoring all licenses and certifications
  • Responsible for confidentiality of all records and ensures access to these records is limited to authorized individuals
  • Assists at the unit level with patients of concern – assisting leadership on communication and management of patients that have concerns, complaints or grievances
  • Daily correspondence with patients of concern or as needed
  • This position must be accountable to proper documentation, file organization, and all other administrative tasks as indicated by the position
  • Facilitate the medical records process
  • Additional duties as needed

                               

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree required.
  • 3-5 years working in a Managerial capacity in a clinical setting.
  • Experience with multiple specialties a plus, as well as Revenue Cycle Management, credentialing, payer contract negotiation, and budgeting experience preferred.
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Healthcare background required
  • Must be knowledgeable in state and federal licensure requirements for all licenses
  • A thorough knowledge of all aspects of the licensing process to include standards, policies and procedures, as well as legal issues involved
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare licensing is required
  • Must be proficient, efficient and enthusiastic in carrying out assigned duties
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize responsibilities and duties.
  • Must be an effective problem solver.  Assumes initiative in problem solving or identifying areas for improvement and implementing program for such improvement.
  • Must be flexible and versatile and able to perform tasks within the policies and procedures of the organization.

Must possess the ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively (both written and oral) with all levels of internal personnel, providers, personnel of outside organizations, contractors, etc.   Must possess good organizational skills, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and be able to work independently and effectively with all levels of aforementioned groups in a flexible work environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Active position that may require frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending and reaching.  Requires full range of body motion including manual, finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.
